The annual Dawson Inn Halloween tradition offers complimentary trunk-or-treating to the children and families of Centra Caregivers.
All event proceeds benefit the Centra Foundation’s Dawson Patient Inn Fund, which helps cover the cost of lodging for patients and their family members who are receiving medical treatment far from their own communities.

To participate via cash or check donation, completed sponsorship commitment forms may be emailed to ashley.klein@centrahealth.com or mailed to the Dawson Inn at 2012 Tate Springs Road, Lynchburg, VA, 24501.

Sponsorship event details:
- Your $25 sponsorship reserves 1 space in the parking lot of the Centra Alan B. Pearson Regional Cancer Center. Placement of vehicles will be on a first come, first served basis unless otherwise directed.
- Only store-purchased, prewrapped candy can be given.
- Please be courteous of your trunk neighbors and keep your decorations confined to your space.
- Sponsor vehicles must arrive at the parking lot between 4 p.m. - 5 p.m.
- Sponsor vehicles must be prepared to stay until after the event ends at 5 p.m. For safety purposes, vehicles will not be permitted to move or leave the parking lot until after the event is over.
- We will not be providing any electrical support for your vehicle decorations.
- Deadline for entry is Monday, October 21. Please return sponsorship form and fee to the Dawson Inn at 2012 Tate Springs Road, Lynchburg, VA 24501. **Space is limited
- All sponsor vehicles will receive communication from the organizers no later than October 23 with pertinent information and additional details.
- There will be an award for “Best Dressed” vehicle (to be voted upon by the trick-or-treaters during the event).
